The Harris County Department of Education is hosting a workshop on November 19th, 2024:

Every Move Counts: What Do We Need to Know to Support Our Assistive Technology Decisions

Presented by Jane Korsten, MS, SLP

Join us for an engaging workshop that dives into the Every Move Counts assessment process, tailored for occupational, physical, speech, and music therapy practitioners, as well as educators! In this session, you’ll gain practical tools to identify students' unique motor and communication interests and abilities. Learn how to set achievable goals that open doors for enhanced communication, environmental control, and meaningful participation in the school setting.

This workshop is offered at a rate of $55 for Harris County residents and $65 for all others. The recording will be available on demand from November 19, 2024, until January 30, 2025. You must register by January 24, 2025. Empower your practice with strategies that make a difference!
