About the Workshop

  • This workshop is designed to inform occupational, physical, speech and music therapy practitioners, as well as educators, on Every Move Counts assessment procedures. Attendees will learn to identify interests and abilities (motor and communication) to build appropriate and achievable communication and environmental control goals to provide access and facilitate success/participation in the school environment.

About the Speaker

  • Jane was the principal investigator on an Innovative Research Grant funded through the National Institutes of Health which led to the development of Every Move Counts: A Sensory-Based Approach to Communication. Jane has worked as a speech pathologist and AT resource with individuals having significant sensory motor differences and autism.

    This workshop is partially funded by a grant from the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities.
